Child Services
Covington Place Therapy & Counseling provides clinical assessment and psychotherapy to children ages six years and older adolescents (teens and preteens), and young adults in individual and group counseling. This Therapy helps children understand their inner emotions and provides support in their lives to cope with stress, identify helpful and unhelpful behaviors, and improve self-esteem. The program examines how children deal with conflict and intense negative emotions and adolescents who have chronic suicidal feelings/thoughts or engage in intentionally self-harmful behaviors. Children and families learn to understand and resolve problems, modify behavior, and make positive changes in their lives.
