Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric (IOP) Services

Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric (IOP) Services are defined as treatment provided in the home or community to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance up to the age twenty-one (21) for family stabilization. The goal is to defuse the current crisis, stabilize the living arrangement, and offer the family and child/youth alternatives to being in crisis.  Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric for Children/Youth is intended to safely intervene with families that request treatment but cannot commit to the intensity of Mississippi Youth Programs Around the Clock (MYPAC) services in their home.
